What is Tableau?

Tableau is an industry-leading Business Intelligence tool that we’ve partnered with to deliver our Hosted Advanced Analytics Solution. Tableau offers an unparalleled reporting experience with modern visualizations, robust filtering techniques, and the freedom to build the reports you need. You also have access to a large community of experienced Tableau developers, providing guidance and insight into best practices software.

What is the difference between WebPT EMR, Analytics, RevFlow, and Tableau Reporting?

The reporting within the WebPT EMR is intended to be leveraged for daily task completion, and quick insight into workflow related items such as unfinished documentation. Data generated in the WebPT EMR populates Analytics and allows you to have a more strategic view of your EMR data. However, Analytics does not pull in RevFlow financial data, nor does it have the flexibility and robust processing power of Tableau. Finally, RevFlow does not aggregate scheduler or note data and is strictly used for reporting on financial metrics. Marrying these data fields in Tableau allows you to look at data in ways never before available to WebPT EMR + RevFlow users. Drive to deeper insights in fewer clicks, build custom dashboards, and pinpoint workflow errors early.

How often is the data in Tableau Server refreshed?

Data is updated nightly (around 2am).

How far back can my run data for?

Typically, you will have access to every data point you've generated over the life of your WebPT Membership.

Can all Members use Tableau?

Any Member that uses the WebPT EMR is a candidate for our Tableau Hosted Solution.

Who do I contact if I feel data is off or missing?

All inquiries into data should run through your internal designated Advance Reporting content. We ask that all requests of this nature include detailed information about your concerns including examples from the other sources you are comparing against Tableau.
