WebPT has over 100+ Data Dictionaries available to better define and socialize WebPT’s reporting data tables. These dictionaries describe the content and structure of our data views that support our Premium Data Extract (Powered by Snowflake), providing greater visibility and transparency and how to leverage the data for analysis.

What is a data table?

A data table shows detailed information from a data source. This data source is the initial input of data into the various data fields in the WebPT suite of products. 

What is a data dictionary?

A data dictionary provides details for each field that you may consider modeling or querying and helps you to understand the business context before you begin to use it. Have you ever seen a database field and thought, "What on Earth does this mean?" Data dictionaries help to solve this question and provide meaning behind it. To help illustrate the meaning, data dictionaries provide examples and describe all possible values when beginning to query and use the data.

What can you expect over time with our data dictionaries?

As our data views evolve, the data dictionary will be updated monthly. We are initially expecting updates to these data tables a few times a month as we continue to evolve and improve the information based on your feedback.
